BUCK HILL D-TEAM
Welcome to the Buck Hill D-Team Ski Racing Program! The D-Team is designed for young ski enthusiasts aged 6 to 15; our program offers an exciting and comprehensive platform for aspiring racers to enhance their skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love for the sport of ski racing.
The Buck Hill D-Team Ski Racing Program is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for young athletes to develop their abilities. Led by experienced and certified coaches, we prioritize individualized attention to help participants reach their full potential. Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced racer, our program is designed to accommodate all skill levels.

Buck Hill D-Team Saturday
The Buck Hill D-Team Race Team is our introductory ski racing program for kids ages 6-15. The program is led by professional and experienced coaches focusing on introductory elements of ski racing which provides a platform for rapid improvement.
Dates: December 2nd, 2023 - February 24th, 2024 (Saturdays)
- No Practice on December 23rd, 2023
Times: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Fee: $740 (8/1 - 8/31/2023) | $780 (9/1 - 10/31/2023)
* Registration Ends October 31st, 2023
Requirements:
• Must be a strong intermediate skier
• Must be at least 6 years old by December 1, 2023
• Must be able to ride lifts unassisted
• Required Season pass not included in registration
Additional Details:
• Saturday practice/race sessions throughout the season
• High volume of gate training and directed drills
• Rapid development of skills and fundamentals
• Experienced and professional staff
• Season includes 2 races at other area resorts. Lift tickets are required.
• Participants may not switch between program days
Buck Hill D-Team Sunday

Led by professional and passionate staff, athletes will work on and build their fundamentals and skills focusing on stance, balance and pole position through a combination of drills and gate training.
Dates: January 2nd - February 27th, 2024 (Tuesdays)
Times: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Fee: $330 (8/1 - 8/31/2023) | $365 (9/1 - 10/31/2023)
- Registration Ends October 31st, 2023
Additional Details:
• Athletes must be registered for either the Saturday or Sunday D-Team programs
• Athletes can register for one or both nights of extra training
• Rapid development of skills and fundamentals through high volume of drills, gate training, and direct free skiing
• Full support from hill management to maintain best in class snow conditions
Buck Hill D-Team Thursday
The Buck Hill D-Team provides additional training nights for those who are seeking extra training to advance their skills. Led by professional and passionate staff, athletes will work on and build their fundamentals and skills focusing on stance, balance and pole position through a combination of drills and gate training.
Dates: January 4th - February 29th, 2024 (Thursdays)
Times: 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Buck Hill Renegades
The Buck Hill Renegades Program is a transition introductory to USSS racing program for U10/12 and 14 athletes participating in the Buck Hill D Team looking for additional training opportunities to advance their racing skills. Led by Buck Hill USSS certified staff athletes will work on and build their fundamentals and skills focusing on stance, balance, and position on snow. Skills developed through this program prepare and build a platform for success at the next level of racing.
Dates: January 8th - February 26th, 2024 (Mondays)
Times: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Fee: $395 / $495 (9/1)
U10/12/14: Year of Birth 2010-2015
Program Pipeline: Buck Hill D Team athlete moving into USSS racing
Requirements: Buck Hill Season Pass
Additional Details:
• Weekly training with USSS coaches
• High volume of training in gates and directed free skiing
• Rapid development of skills and fundamentals
• Introduction to training at the next level of Buck Hill’s world-renowned racing program
• Training with NO lift lines
• Private lift, training hill and facilities
• Must be a member of the Buck Hill D-Team to register for the Renegades program
