The Buck Hill Ski team is a USSA Gold Certified club that offers world class training and coaching for local junior athletes. The team consistently produces some of the best racers in the country and is home to many current and former US ski team athletes and olympians. If you are a racer with aspirations to compete with your peers, ski in college, or become an olympian, the Buck Hill ski team can give you the tools to get there.

Program Includes:

Fall Conditioning

The Buck Hill ski team membership includes about 6 weeks of fall dryland training sessions. The team practices Monday and Wednesday from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at the Bloomington Kennedy athletic center and on Saturdays from 9:00am-11am at Lac Lavon park in Burnsville or at Buck Hill. Practices begin Oct. 1st at Buck Hill and will continue until the hill opens for the winter.

Dryland practices are run and organized by Coach Maria Schilling. Maria has an undergraduate degree in physical education and an M.A. in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology.

Winter Program

Work with our top-level coaches 5 days a week during the winter season. Practice sessions will include timing, video, and verbal feedback. Team members also receive coaching at all team supported races. Our coaching staff includes former Olympians, world cup racers, national champions, and collegiate racers.
